  • WHY BILLBOARDS?

    1. It is always there. Most Americans spend an average of over 25 hours per week in their cars. And your billboard staying there 24/7.
    2. You can’t avoid it. Roadside billboards are the most noticed ads. OAAA did a study in 2019. 83% of billboard viewers make a point to look at the advertising message at least some of the time; 4 in 10 looks at the billboard ad each time or almost each time they noticed one.
    3. Impact. 20% of billboard viewers have immediately visited a business after seeing a directional billboard ad; 74% of those visitors made a purchase.
    4. Interaction with social media. 42% viewers who own a smartphone have searched for a billboard advertiser on their mobile device, and 32% viewers who own a smartphone have visited the advertiser’s website.
    5. Cost effective. Billboard Advertising costs 80% less than television advertising, 60% less than newspaper ads, and 50% less than radio advertisements.

  • DESIGN TIPS

    Keep it simple. Billboards are a very quick read, so they shouldn't contain a lot of information. Seven words is the ideal amount of copy on a billboard. Advertisements should be straightforward and to the point. Go with one idea.

    It should be readable. Billboard advertising designs must be easy to read from variable distances. Words with upper- and lower-case characters is easier to read.

    Choose right color. Choose colors with high contrast. High contrast colors are easy to see from big distances.

    Do a test. Print your advertising to the size of business card. Hold it out at arm's length. Could you read it? Do you like it?
